I’m offering Developmental Editing and critique services, from Picture Book to YA. I specialize in specific, actionable advice on manuscripts with commentary on pacing, character development, and emotional arc. As an illustrator, I’m able to help develop picture book and graphic novel manuscripts with an eye toward art notes that add clarity; I am also willing to discuss thumbnails and visual pacing.
As a voracious reader of children’s literature – since I was a child through present – I have a wide range of comp references and a wealth of opinions on just about every genre. I’ve been in many long running critique groups and partnerships, 12×12, and SCBWI, and am an agented author-illustrator, successful Kickstarted self-publisher, and have stories in several anthologies. My goal as an editor is to help bring more wonderful stories into the world… and I hope yours is next.
