Kidlit Illustration Portfolio
Selected portfolio. I work in analog watercolor as well as digital media – often in combination – to create picture book and graphic novel illustrations inspired by magic in the natural world, architecture, fairy tales, commissions, and general oddities. I am an author, illustrator and colorist open to collaboration! Represented by Alison Remcheck of Stimola Literary.
For further descriptions of author-illustrator projects I’m working on, please visit my Picture Books and Graphic Novels pages!
I love graphic novels and am actively seeking work as as colorist – so if you like my colors, please reach out!
I hate that I have to say this but: I never use AI in any of my work. All weirdness is my own weirdness. All bad hands are my own failures at drawing good hands. I believe that genAI is an evil and stupid machine that creates, at best, average work – because it ingests everything and tries to make the most predictable result from your prompts. I never aim to be average. Sometimes that means I’m making bad drawings, and I’m ok with that. I can improve them. With my own efforts. Which I enjoy. Which is why I’m an artist. K? Cool.
